The 2014 SHOT Show, the largest annual shooting, hunting and outdoor tradeshow in the world, has come and gone, and with the dust settled a bit we wanted to take a step back and share a few highlights.
As always the show was packed, setting new attendance records in a great illustration of the health and vitality of the industry. The Gerber booth was its usual hub of business and featured new, open and inviting themes spotlighting the heritage and ethos of the brand, with a special nod to hunting camp on one end and U.S. military barracks on the other.
What better platform, as noted by SHOT Daily editors below, to kick off Gerber's 75th year?

It's a celebration that may have started in Las Vegas but will continue on throughout 2014 and the press didn't stop there...
In fact, Gerber went three for three over the first days of the show and scored a total of five editorial placements over the event's four day run. Press wins that were no doubt enabled by the strong story lines running through the booth from our US manufacturing heritage, Still Serving message and of course incredible new products on which to hang our collective hats.

It's important to note as well that meeting rooms were packed, the right buyers were in place, sales and marketing teams were wheeling and dealing and even some celebrity heavy hitters were with us! It was a heck of a run and a great kick off to the year!
Momentum is building and it's time to roll, Gerber roll.
