The much anticipated Gerber Bear Grylls Survival Series is officially out of the starting gate - and what a way to begin. The complete collection is now available through key retail partners, just as the sixth season of Bear's hit show Man vs. Wild kicks off, and the buzz continues to resonate throughout consumer and media channels.
Locally, The Oregonian helped break the news in and around Portland, while top media outlets including Field & Stream and Versus.com introduced the full series to a national audience.
Internally, our social media team helped add to the excitement by orchestrating a sweepstakes on the Gerber Facebook page. Designed to build awareness of the full series launch and continue to build our fan base, this effort resulted in the addition of literally hundreds of new fans - and a couple of very happy consumers who won Survival Series products.
