In early May the Gerber marketing team took to the road for a product showcase in New York City. A one day event, the showcase acted like a mini tradeshow where we were able to talk about our brand and our latest gear with media as they were formulating story ideas.
As it happens, some outlets move faster than others and we are very pleased to report some early returns in a not-so-traditional venue for us. Good Housekeeping, perhaps best known for their iconic Seal of Approval, stamped the Bear Grylls collection in a post soon after the event.
Highlighting the Bear Grylls Ultimate Knife, Firestarter and Survival kits as ideal ways to stay prepared while hiking and camping, Good Housekeeping takes the Gerber brand to a whole new set of eyes and we're confident that this is the first of many placements to come from our trip to the Big Apple.
